Nolav is the name for the Material Plane of the Mése’ta Cosmology.
The world has a year of 338 days, split into the 13 annual cycles of its larger moon, Angry-La. (The other moon, gateway to the Celestial Bureaucracy, is thought to be more distant from earthly concerns.) The Altanian calendar has a seven days in a week, commonly known as:
Sunday (dawn or dusk of the week, depending on regional variation)
Moonday (after Angry-La still visible in the morning)
Fluesday (when chimneys are cleaned to aid fires)
Payday (when laborers are given their gold, resulting in a tradition of eating metallic-scaled fish as well)
